Little messy due to layers, but I wanted to elaborate something the timelapse shows. Where a small change made a big difference in the expression. It wasn't looking quite right to me until I opened the mouth more by raising the snout

Wanted to do something spoopy for October, ended up making the genre cover for Monster Movies!

This is an #OC #kaiju of mine I'm working on named Shimua. Not sure how much I wanna reveal just yet, but I'm working on something to put out soon.

Timelapse. It's a bit weird, because the two sketches of the characters were originally two separate files, but he asked me to make sure that they fit when standing next to each other, so the decision was made to keep them on the same file so I can reference one on the other

Focusing more on my human art since my creature art hasn't really seen much development, it is better, just not nearly as drastic. And these two really help show my style getting more painterly and I had some friends pushing me to look into that and exploring values more and it's been enriching!
