And I'd venture Obama was more centrist as well. Socialism has become an all encompassing scare term by the right, the US has only had socialist type programs scattered throughout time.

Biden is pretty much centrist, with a few programs that could be considered socialist-lite. As far as the criminal goes, I just don't understand it.

I'm not a religious guy, but UU seems to have a lack of hard dogma, which is refreshing. There's probably a number of things to be learned in their church, rather than rote recitation.
