The curse of capability is self-sufficiency; and what a lonely world that creates.
Is power finite? Is it like matter, it can not be created nor destroyed? In which case, is the pursuit of power a zero-sum game? The more empowered others feel, the more disempowered you feel?
So, is it a valid protest against the rising powers of the oligarchy to be self-empowered?

The federal government has a rule that when traveling for work, all tips come at your personal expense and can not be reimbursed.
Meanwhile, the federal government also reduces minimum wage for service workers because of the tip culture.
This seems like a loophole to avoid paying a livable wage
