This is confusing because Gurrendo seemed to acquit himself well last year, both as a runner and receiver. Team clearly disagrees because he hasn't really played on offense this year.

Great website and am embarrassed to admit I liked Lombardi’s red chip/blue chip players columns. The Matt Millens/Mike Lombardis are bad at their job but know a lot more about football than me.

Would the niners consider a hypothetical Pearsall for MHJ trade? I think they would make that trade but it’s wild that’s even a close debate this early in their careers.

Right. He had back spasms on July 25 and his contact numbers cratered after that. But the article doesn't mention this injury/change.

Does it matter that he was a "raw" college kid. I think he missed a lot of AB in high school and Vandy because of TJ and a broken elbow?
