Yeah, I think lookAt can be a bit fiddly at times, but it should work with the correct settings.

You can always try to apply the calculated rotation to a simple node, just to avoid any strange behavior with boneAttachment.

Have you tried without the RadToDeg, or changing the bone attachment.Rotation to boneAttachment.RotationDegrees?

Is it maybe an issue of radians vs degrees? You might need to convert the angle value before feeding it to the look-at. It kinda looks like it's reacting correctly otherwise.
