Today, for the first time, I let one (1) of the guinea fowl (Farfalle, one of the Coral Blues) outside. They are wedged up against the fence, trying to get back in. Everyone still inside is extremely concerned. These dudes are Anxiety personified (birdified)? I love them. @vicmmic.bsky.social

Now that we have the windas open, I'm reminded how delightfully NOISY it is out there in the mornings, what with all the birds chattering away! I did a #TenMinMerlin the other day at 7:15am and there were twenty-three species out there! Exciting!

Yesterday there was steam (water vapor?) rising from the Delaware River on my drive in to work.

This is Little Lake Erie, photo taken on my lunchtime walk yesterday. I was huffin' and puffin' going up a hill, so I should probably make this my regular route until that doesn't happen. (One benefit of walking in chilly weather is that I can actually exert myself a little without getting gross.)
