There are so many major issues plaguing the world right now, like climate change, genocides masked as wars, corruption, wealth inequality, etc. but the overwhelming amount of disinformation online is what allows them all to continue unchecked. This sounds like a step in the right direction.

That's modern conservatism! Don't actually address any problems, just cover them up and pocket the money you would've spent.
