The author does have a recent Elsevier article (in press) withdrawn for numerous reasons. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. It seems that there may be some issues here.

Well, first of all, it is using generative AI. Take note of the image of the person receiving a shot. The person giving the shot has 6 fingers (five fingers and a thumb.) So, the likelihood that the entire article was just made up by an AI seems likely.

I don't know exactly when the movie scene is supposed to take place, but here is the Super Set-o-Matic tom holder in the 1976 Slingerland catalog. It was not in the 1973 catalog. The coated Ambassador heads were around for years prior to 1979 (Remo says 1957) but the logo was different.

This was a huge loss to the entire DCI community, and to us personally. FHNSAB.
