Slow start, incredibly strong middle, doesn't stick the landing ino. Also mandatory grinding if you want the full experience in a single player game is a big oof from me.

Also the weather effect is nearly every day of the game's timeline is bad weather, and it all has the same effect: Turns off combat system if it would benefit you. It's boring and eventually stops mattering.

Also the sendoff cutscenes in the mainstory not being voiced is the most insane choice in what was effectively a movie anyway. I played on the hardest available difficulty and, spoilers, but you get to a point where for 50 MP you deal guaranteed 9999 damage, so it never matters

Seriously okay I did enjoy this game, and you should totally play it, but minimum 40 of my 70 hours was cutscenes/waiting for the enemies to finish the most drawn out animations I have ever seen in my whole life.

(But seriously conversation around media, especially fiction, has become so difficult because nobody wants to read or do research, they just want to claim they have because lying is hip these days)
