Need to do a second layer of gold leaf and then apply the sealer, then final clean up.
When it’s totally done, I’ll list it for sale at $175.
* Made from African Blackwood.
* ~23mm from face to face
*Some of the stars and bevels are VERY slightly out of proportion.

I LOVE the way African Blackwood polishes! The black grain that reveals moments of dark brown reminds me of obsidian! It’s like a rogue slipping through the shadows to their target.

Start Cut d12. Numbering, edge highlighting and polishing come next.
My favorite part of this die is that each face ends up roundish and highlighted with a dragon scale like mesh of facets that absolutely make it look like a star!

Here’s the first die in the pink ivory set. Took about 6hrs. I should have taken a little more time and tried to do the star facets a tad slower. A few of them got little bigger than desired.
