I think it's ok if we don't all agree 100% on everything

Why not go the emulation route?
You can upscale it a bit, and will probably not have to worry about a single crash
Hell, you can run homebrew on your switch 1, that's what I decided to do with mine now that I have my switch 2

I had no idea that the port was that bad
The way they're churning out DQ remakes, and the fact that they even did the Mana games, and they released the Chrono Cross remaster, it's highly possible we see something on Chrono Trigger
