The book that gave me validation that other people were like me. I read it in 1975 at the age of 15. It took me until 1982 to officially come out as gay due to the homophobia my mother displayed.

How is it and why is it that our tax dollars are spent developing pharmaceuticals to treat illness and conditions that the average American can't afford?
Seriously, we pay to develop them and then insurance companies won't cover them. SMH!
