When the Tory Coalition tried (unsuccessfully) to close Lewisham Hosp in 2013, they put the McKinsey Corporation in charge. In one ‘engagement event’, I overheard one operative saying ‘one way to stop so many people going to A&E is to close more A&Es. Similar wrecking behaviour from this Govt.
