It’s hard to believe. I’m standing in a bookstore, holding a book that took a decade to write. The Formula for Better Health isn’t just a title—it’s an approach I hope every family, every parent, every community had in their hands before the next crisis strikes.

Dissolving ACIP is an absolute mistake. We need accurate information—not fringe theories—guiding government recommendations on which vaccines to give which people.

Staff measured his blood pressure, which turned out to be extremely high. Because of this, he was provided treatment that day (for his blood pressure and his back) and is now better protected against heart attack and stroke. I don’t know who was happier when he left – him or me!

I just returned from a trip to India and Bangladesh, where I met with partners to discuss strategies to improve heart health, including eliminating trans fat, reducing sodium intake and increasing blood pressure control.
