Many years ago we envisioned shorter work weeks and more leisure time. What we didn’t, or at least I didn’t, envision that people would be switched to hourly wages so that while theoretically we might have more time, we have less income. Now add AI to that mix and more jobs may be lost. Sigh

10 days in Europe. Only 1 person tried to start a conversation about politics, RFK Jr, and vaccines causing autism. We changed the subject. It was a welcome relief.
