They're not here in Nebraska! I can't say I've eaten a good one outside of New York (state)

A quintessential NYC food...also the most edible snack on UAlbany's campus. I miss them 😭

One of the things that is the most special in our department is that it's not just one or two, it's everyone. We have an egalitarian culture where everyone shares in the all of the work. Research, teaching, service, all of us are triple threats

My higher Ed history is thinner than my K-12 history. But knowing it really helps tee up, why are we in this moment. Why yes, this is a 75 year, 150 year backlash to the expansion of educational rights to more and more children

It's amazing that is 90 years ago. They could be writing that about now.

If NYC and NYS all decided not to pay their federal taxes, all the red states would have realized the money spigot is off

Stick that in the promotion file

I don't either. It's really scary. One of our cats caught a bat once, others have proudly displayed their dead mice.

The number of arguments I have had with cat owners about rabies shots... Where I live if your unvaccinated cat bites some one, they will kill it to test for rabies. That alone is enough for me. But also getting rabies is a terrible way to do so 🤷🏻‍♀️

But how do I get 54 million if I'm so bad at my job they have to fire me? Or how do I get 4 mill for being good at my job and getting canned with my whole department?

I had forgotten the breadth of the collection, even with the American wing closed.

But what does it smell like?
October 25, 2025 at 1:19 AM
Our campus leader makes 8.6 times more than I do. I could make phone calls from my garden, ghost face Sen, and brag about not being fired while being the only chancellor who has never had an investiture for that money. I could even pull 6 depts out of a hat to cut for no reason

It's decidedly unstollen like. It's more like a loaf, different flavors. I never had the original but the version my father made is less of an enriched bread and denser and has citron and candied cherries and lots of cardamom 🤷🏻‍♀️

What is the German Christmas bread my mother calls klurban? Spelling totally unclear It involves lots of cardamom and candied fruit peel.
