I would make anyone referring to Orkney as "the Orkneys" punishable by living inside the M25.

"excited for" rather than "excited about"
"verse" rather than "versus" or just "v"

My son, a few months ago said "I'm excited for Scotland verse Denmark".

"it is a coded message we don't fit in"

Absolutely, the irony here being that everyone in the media, including Kemi herself, Jenrick, and Kate McCann mispronounce the name. Fancy that, a word derived from Gaelic being mispronounced.

Jenrick is closest though.

Finance minister Reinhardt only speaks German I believe.

2016 is when all this *waves arms* started. Nothing has been the same since Bowie died.

Here’s the full original story in @thenewworldmag.bsky.social from several weeks ago, where we pointed out the issues in Prescott’s dossier:

EXCLUSIVE: Michael Prescott himself doctored Trump quote in his anti-BBC report
A report alleging Panorama broadcast misleading Trump quotes contains misleading quotes itself

They gave up their tomorrows...so a farmer in Dumfries could spray paint a goat's arse.

The defining moment came in the election campaign 24 when they ruled out tax rises along with customs union and single market access.

It was a terrible decision and they've been screwed since.

Well, I wrote 'british' because both Glasgow and London (I think, but I could well be wrong) claim they developed it. I'd agree with you that Glasgow has the best claim. So yeah, Scottish.

Either way, it's best made 'traditionally' with tomato soup.

Fried fish: Spain/Portugal
Pies: Ancient Egypt/Rome
Scones: Scotland (part of Britain, for now)
Tikka masala is almost certainly British.
I wonder if this person supports a publicly funded NHS, with that diet she'll be needing it sooner than she thinks.

Perth road in dunblane was reduced to 20 mph. It has made next to no difference. With no enforcement about 95% of cars are speeding.

Plus, there are large '20' signs all over the road - motorists speed deliberately.

Depends on what I was there to do and time of year - there to see what was happening and/or present a poster? A ratio of roughly 1:1. There to give a talk? A ratio of 1:2 (ie 2 day conference = 4 day recovery time).

Longer recovery time in winter and for a venue overseas.

All before diagnosis.
