Just as with real science, we were scooped by the @krishnamudumbi.bsky.social lab, but there were 10 Chrystal Starbird’s in lab today. I mean, down to the tattoos, the glasses, and the luggage (since I’m always traveling), they committed!

I had to miss it being out sick, but the Starbird lab Fall outing couldn’t be stopped! Our amazing undergrads weren’t able to join, but here is everyone else that makes it all worth it! 🤩

I’ve been pretty sick for a few days now, and not getting much better. My husband and son grabbed Asian food for lunch, and my son brought me back this fortune and said he wants me to get batter 🥹🥰

For the local folks, LA (Lou Andrew) at Johnson Hyundai of Apex really and truly took care of us. Plus, Percy in finance was the literal best (he gave some good financial advice to my college student just because) 🙌🏾

Update: We have been in a stable place and are moving into a home next week.
