Civ2 was awesome for me because couldn’t afford a powerful enough rig to get more advanced versions of the game. And now today’s civ games look impressive but feel (as outsider looking at it) completely overwhelming with all that’s there now

Visited one of my old company offices in Texas 15 years ago or so. Didn't know they had one of these. Was working in a vacant guest office and the mail robot rolls up and rings a doorbell. I was confused as hell. What a fun machine.

Thats a lot when they also saying that seniors wouldn't miss a SS payment. My mom relies on SS and a small backstop of stock investment (LT 100k). There is no pension from dad and was too late to meaningfully create 401k savings. This does matter

Know all the protests but they did revise their sales forecasts down. And it still came in under by near 20%. Assume that's why it's "unexpected" as they assumed they baked it in...? But it's Elon so that word "assumed" doing HEAVY lifting

Look at a credit union if can. I've never been charged fee on an account even if it just has $5 there. He'd be better off preaching smarter financial literacy and basics that help inform people

This without some level of literacy is ripe for bad investment or predatory action and this person losing it all. Versus having their job forcing an opt-out and having funds in traditional investment that is more controlled. Not saying there isn't risk in that but having young/poor focus on crypto 🙃

Couple that with teaching financial basics in schools about saving and investing, differences, risks, etc. Seen mark amplify another post saying a poor person putting $5k into crypto is sort of a ticket out. That is being very far reaching, esp if those "invest" that in some shit pump/dump and lose

Can't wait for them to fold, pay the settlement so their merger gets green lit so their owner can cash out on a merger. Then state AGs file lawsuits for bribery/corruption on quid pro quo, only to lose because supreme court gutted what bribery means.
