I was going to reply lamenting the ongoing loss of nuance (it’s such a basic philosophical position that all things have their ups and downs), but I sort of lost the will half way through the bleat. How can they make such obvious errors? It’s not even funny now.

No that’s perfectly sensible- I suppose a decent place should be expected to serve you a good meal whatever you pick from the menu. You admirably avoided taking the (unintended) bait on influencers as restaurant reviewers, so chapeau.

How do you ensure you cover enough of a restaurant’s offer, without falling foul of the same thing? When I read your reviews, I get a sense that you try more than just your own meal, but I never come away thinking I’d go but have to eat/ spend more than a normal person. Maybe just that you’re a pro!

The issue goes both ways though doesn’t it- if we continue to row in hard behind Zelensky, trump either visits and appears to support a country fighting openly against Russian interests, or he has to cancel and be done with the post war settlement.

What would they do with it though? There’s no invitation to go back, so you either deal with what we have (and look for small improvements) or you burn time, energy, and political capital.
