Fortunately, your posts still show up. That said, thanks for sharing this because I had no idea about those advanced settings. I wonder how much I've been missing because things like "rude" or "impersonations" (I assume parody accounts?) were automatically set to hide instead of "warn" or "label".

Aw, shucks. It’s so rainy, dark and gloomy outside on a national holiday where there’s nothing that warrants leaving the house. I guess I have no choice but to cozy up on my couch underneath a couple of blankets and continue with my Clair Obscur playthrough! Total bummer, I know.

Thanks! I just finished the movie so I can finally reply. I switched the light to red for the first time tonight after I saw a couple of pictures from @brianimator.bsky.social, and it totally works. I love it.

It’s Halloween night and instead of watching one of my usual picks, I decided to cap off my folk and family horror themed month with Get Out. Haven’t seen it since it came out and I’m excited to go back to it! #filmsky

I’ve been playing Sackboy recently and I genuinely can’t express how happy it makes me to see the little Sackboy in a bumblebee costume. It’s SO cute and I squeal every single time.

I appreciate the reminder 💀

It’s been a decade since I got @pocketcasts.com. Even though I got some issues with it, overall I’d say money well spent.

I'm excited to watch Ryan Coogler's Sinners tonight. Haven't been to the theater since Nosferatu, so it's been a while.

Just scrolled past this here and couldn't believe it. Like, even if you don't want to give Charles a pass despite being through a lot with the team, what the hell did Lewis say that justifies a comment like this?

I don’t care how long it takes. One year, two years, five years. But as soon as NVIDIA support on Linux is top notch, I’m so ready to ditch Windows as my primary OS for gaming.

Huh. Given how it's presented on the f1.com front page, I expected a lot more coverage about the move. Weird decision.

Thank you! Noise and temps are pretty good. Higher than in the old config, of course, but not concerning or loud. Silent when idle, with the CPU staying int the low-to-mid 40s and reaching ~87°C under heavy load. The GPU remains unchaged, surprisingly enough. 30°C when idle and mid 60s under load.

Another disappointing Formula 1 qualifying session and F1 Academy race later, and it’s finally done. I really should’ve prepared a thumb drive with a current Windows version and drivers first, though. 🫠

Shout-out to Fractal Design for their beautiful and well-made manuals. Every part and every step is clearly labeled and described. As always, RTFM!

Now that everything works outside the case, it’s time to finally get to the fun part and cram a lot of hardware into a small pc case. Who doesn’t love that?

Anyway, back to building, and I’m happy to report that it’s alive! First POST was a success. Next step: booting with the GPU and then the riser cable. 👀

This is my first time building a small form factor PC (SFF), so seeing how small the CPU cooler is compared to my old Noctua NH-D15 makes me chuckle a little.

Little side note, but the whole Asus ROG STRIX branding always makes me cringe. “Republic of Gamers”, “for those who dare”, the angry, serious eye. I always get huge “we demand to be taken seriously” vibes from it, and like, no.

I’ve built so many PCs in my lifetime that I’m confident I could do it in my sleep by now. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to always RTFM. ☝️

The last couple of parts for my new living room pc build arrived this week and I ripped some of the old ones out of the other PC. I think I’m ready to start building, and hopefully, I’ll be done by the time the F1 Sprint race starts. 🤞

It’s been a good week for physical media in this household. ❤️

I love the controller cap for the USB cable so goddamn much.

My new living room PC build is slowly coming together: 9800X3D, Asus B650E-I, and Thermalright AXP120. Now I’m just hoping for a decent sale on a 32 GB RAM kit next week, since that’s the last piece I need before I can start building🤞
