I don’t know what to worry more about:
A) the subeditor who decided that “Pharoh’s anus” would make it click bait; or
B) the algorithm that decided I was a Pharoh’s anus kind of guy.

Clever people of BlueSky, help me out:
a) Putnam’s ant on a beach drawing a caricature of Winston Churchill is disturbingly similar to an AI Chatbot, but why isn’t it? And:
b) does that mean I’m a brain in a vat or not?

I’m still a little confused about the details of how this will work in practice. Eg will a landlord choose which digital ID providers they and won’t accept? Is there going to be a specific scheme for the hospitality industry?

Essential discussions over "public" posts on social media, and how they are used for research.

It's a long-standing debate: I'm often reminded of the controversies over Tearoom Trade from the 1970s, about men who have sex with men in public places. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tearoom...

The stats can be tricky sometimes, but the good news is the 20mph limits in Wales looks like a great success!

I wonder if there's a greater impact from nation-wide change of the default than a piecemeal council-by-council approach? @20splenty.bsky.social
