Like so many I am self-censoring about what is going on in the world - big brother is listening - but here’s a picture of a quilt top I am working on - a Redford Quilt - all scraps - no rhyme or reason of colors just dark and light - lots of HSTs (Half-square triangles)

Started prepping the Redford Quilt Pattern - the number of half-squared triangles is - just wow - making them isn’t hard - it is the pressing them open & trimming to size that is hard 😂 #quiltsky

Putting buttons on the thread holder pouch I am finishing - definitely not perfect - but it will do what I want it to do - hold 12 wt thread for slow stitch binding

Great-Nephew at 20 years old loves vinyl records and oldies so I gave him my collection - which was my parents collection - Brooks Benton, to Tommy Overstreet, to Chris Stapleton - better it to be enjoyed that sit around unplayed.

Finished handsewing down binding on the quilt made w/ “count your chickens” pattern by Nicola Dodd - longarmer did a rush job for me since it is retirement gift

Finished piecing the “count your chickens” pattern by Nicola Dodd - I found pattern in a Today’s Quilters magazine #quiltsky - started in March and finished in May - 9 blocks sat on design wall for a month before piecing started again - now off to longer long-armer to quilt with chicken backing

Finished piecing the “count your chickens” pattern by Nicola Dodd - I found pattern in a Today’s Quilters magazine #quiltsky - started in March and finished in May - 9 blocks sat on design wall for a month before piecing started again - now off to longer long-armer to quilt with chicken backing
