Reading Character Limit, unsurprised by the hubris of Musk, but 100+ pages in & Dorsey isnt coming off so well, surprised he goaded the acquisition against the board. Anyway, its given me motivation to give Bluesky another go. fyi the ethnographic writing is great @kateconger.com @rmac.bsky.social 👌

Struggling to set up research interviews with alt right content creators but have noticed these posts/ads from what i'd call "growth hackers". Have reached out to two of them on Rumble & they are super keen to participate in my ethnography. Feels like i'm about to be scammed some how 💆🏽♂️

After 4yrs PhD on activism on social media in Sri Lanka, yday was my first public presentation for my new postdoc world of politics on social media in UK. Cant say it's easier studying one's home country, but it definitely feels like i'm on to something with digital banter 🤌

Splendid days research today. Interviewed a photographer of activists, & inspired by convo went to the Face Magazine exhibit at the National Portrait gallery. Can’t recommend it enough, all your heroes are there

Surprised to find Bitchute, UK's biggest homegrown alt-right platform, closed for UK users due to demands of Online Safety Act 2023. Its still accessible for UK users but they cannot see/post content to other UK users (international audiences are fine). fyi I'm hanging there for research obvs 👀
