Per Oleg Kalugin, a former KGB general (foreign intel/CI & Putin’s direct superior), Trump was worked by the KGB. He noted they do have kompromat, incl. reports of sexual escapades. Yuri Shvets, also ex-KGB, rep they cultivated Trump since '77 (Ivana Zelníčková), fluffing his ego & ambitions.
