Salmon chowder, full of vegetables, veggie stock, started with mirepoix. Totally satisfying on a colder day. Would be good even without the salmon but oh so good with (shellfish allergy house).

Front yard deer checking out the wildlife cam. This is our oldest mama. She is known to take fawns from the inexperienced. One year she had a group of four babies trailing her. We leave leaf litter for the wildlife in our yard all winter.

Who knew goldfish could be so fun? These boys are lab rescues from the college kid. They are always so happy to see us. Their day job is fertilizer work in a hydroponics tank. Just learned they are a long-lived species, too.

This tabletop, child safe, cardboard cutter is so much fun. This will definitely help me work off frustrations in public health messaging. Still learning how to use it, but the possibilities are as endless as my cardboard supply
