When finally, the mass emerged, Crowned with all the inner gifts they had forged. It landed before them, dark and whole— A monument of a confused organ trying to be a soul. It stared back at them like a painful curse word, Revealing itself to be *somewhat of a password?* To use to release, to examine, to know at last: To unlock the future twisted with the past. Their tongue, now free of an ancient bind, Rough-licking new patterns in their mind. Each sandpaper stroke, a gentle art Of cleaning what was torn apart. The catboi, now a kitty king, through tears, can see The hairball's strange geometry: A cosmos made of pain transformed, A crown more real than those adorned.

Saliva pearled down their royal chin, As ancient hurts finally began Their exodus from flesh to aether— The pain they thought they had to bear forever. The hairball of an anguished Rose, thorned and vast, Each fiber woven from their past: Strands of "unworthy" wound with shame, Threads of "broken" tangled in blame. Their throat distended with this sacred weight As years of silence burst through the gate Into a roar that shook the ground— Their truth, far too big to stay spellbound. They retched and heaved and clawed the Earth, This death-and-resurrection birth. Their body wracked with holy force, Their voice raw, broken from charting this course.

This wasn't like the vomiting of the old days, It wasn't about their history of chronically puking in emesis bags in a daze, When they were so ill with stress and autoimmune failure, That their body pled and yearned for closure. This time, it was different: their stomach, their entire being, contracted with tectonic force, Each heave excavated a different source Of the pain they'd consumed to survive: *The taste of rejection of more than three decades: still raw and alive.* Up through their core came the first bitter surge, A primal and necessary purge. Their ribs cracked open like dawn's first light As their diaphragm danced in the recall of exquisite birthright.

catboi's meditation into purging a massive metaphorical hairball like a badass kitty king (2025) -- Deep in the marrow of their sovereign bones, The closeted catboi felt what they've always known: A mass of memories, dense and thick, Lodged where their throat met their lunar eclipse. It burned like a star's death, this calcified grief, Each swallow a reminder of lost belief. Their esophagus clutched ancestral fears, Preserved in acid from long-buried years. He lived for years, not knowing his royalty, Head down in appeasement and feeling "unworthy." They spoke in whispers, in the hesitation of "maybe?" Seeking for a love that could hold them and call them "baby." *The retching began with a muscular wave,* Their body remembering what it meant to be brave. First, just a tickle, then violent spasms— Their spine arched high over emotional chasms.

I think it’s unfair to face authority, when my face is inflicted by crayon-drawn sobs of overwhelm and mediocrity. I’ve been able to erase it all before, but the waxy residue of my unmet desires does not go away anymore. My body can no longer keep up the lie, and I desperately need someone to take my etchings, wipe my face, and be my ally. Wanted to join the GSA and unknowingly did egg and #queer stuff, but parents thought that my going to therapy would affect college apps, so they took me out to a Walmart-Sam's Club parking lot to have serious homophobic talks with me. /srs
mcbushpig: when i was 8 i drew this comic about two girls kissing and my mom was out raged and i thought it was because my art wasn't good enough so i kept trying to draw girls kissing and she sent me to therapy and my therapist tried explaining homosexuality to me and i didn't even know what that had to do with my art skills
