A lot of people know that I had surgery 10 days ago. I’m happy to say that I was back in the saddle today at WYES TV doing an episode of Informed Sources. We recorded today due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, but the show will air at its regular time 7 PM on Friday.

Here are my race projections for New Orleans Municipal Elections for tonight as of 9:45PM: Calvin Duncan will win Clerk of Criminal District Court. Aimee McCarron will win Council District A. Jason Hughes will win Council District E. And all propositions and amendments will pass.

I had a reception for the staff of Verite News to attend tonight at Tchoup Yard, that conflicted with my standup time, fortunately the crack team of Andrés Fuentes and Dylan Ferreira were able to track me down and I was still able to get my standup in today. #Newsmen

While I was in the WYES TV studio today to record an episode of Informed Sources, I ran into Akayla Bailey, a Senior Mass Communications major at Dillard University. Akayla is doing her Internship at the station. It’s always great to see our Dillard students working in television.
