Depending on what you want the game loop to be, you could also have pre-mission research or negotiations to get information from other groups who may've encountered them.

Not too long ago I took part in a Halloween one-shot where the characters were split between 2014 and 2024 classes, and it went pretty smoothly. If they called it a new edition, I think they'd be overselling the changes.

I almost said, "It just has to be non-ferrous!" but then I remembered that we're talking about IRON Man. Wild.

At least with wargames you play in person, you could have the objective of making ridiculous and/or dramatic things happen instead of putting a boot on their neck.

I can just imagine her voice - or, at least, A voice she might have.

If there were a game designed by humans that deliberately did stuff like this, it'd be cool and dreamlike. (Like a game about being trapped in a nightmare. maybe.) Too bad it's just an AI model that can't model a consistent world.

I'm there too, crippling plastic addiction aside! I think we'll need more third spaces, since there's an incentive to buy there, as well, but it's a good one!

I dunno, Wile E. It looks painted-on, to me.

I wonder if it's possible to have a "kill-switch" that banishes the daemon if it starts to cause you trouble. Of course, then it'd be out in the Warp plotting its revenge - maybe some inquisitors avoid using them so they don't get immortal personal enemies.

If you work out, you'll build endurance. If you just change your diet, you might get a little more endurance. Doing both will have a greater effect than adding the two together, because the healthier diet lets you work out more. (Not a dietician.)

The old game Perfect Dark had a "counter op" mode where one player would possess an enemy in the level, and then if (when) they died, they would just hop into another. No command, but it was an interesting idea.

I think that'd be a neat conclusion for them to come to at some point. It's no use having THE Republic because it gives a small group too much power over trillions, and can't respond to the varied needs of so many. It goes back to Naboo and beyond!

My thought was that the point was presented to be refuted. The guy presenting it sold the heroes out and the guy he was making it to proudly declared himself rebel scum.

It probably varies by warband, too. I like the idea that they've all scattered with their own ideas of what they're supposed to be doing, and get very confused or incensed when they encounter each other.

This might not need to be on a tree - it sounds like a decision that could be modeled by the game making tanks vastly more expensive to maintain, and letting you decide whether to eat the cost or decommission your tanks.
