Clearly no system should be simply adopted uncritically.
But it is interesting that the Danes have been able to develop a rigorous immigration system inside the EU.
Maybe Brexit was just funded by tax-dodgers after all.

😂😂😂

Interesting to note that all his anti-EU rhetoric falls flat when faced with the reality that the Danes (within the EU and ECHR) can have a quite rigorous immigration policy.

The Tories could always have done that, it was never about the EU or ECHR.

Replaced by who though?
The Tories who crashed the whole union, Labour who made a hash of Wales and have no idea what they mean, or UKIP/Reform who are just the right wingers too incompetent and daft be allowed in the Tory party?

Could you be sued for thinking it's all a big spoof then?
November 11, 2025 at 10:20 PM
It does seem to have generated quite a lot of hysteria.

Curiouser and curiouser.....

Not unhappy with the outcome, but WTF?
November 9, 2025 at 7:53 PM
Doesn't this show that our immigration control complaints had nothing to do with the EU in the first place?
November 9, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Is that better than making no promises so that you can't be held accountable?
November 9, 2025 at 10:03 AM
Well said sir!
November 8, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Is it frightening? Or does the union just need to be very differently constituted to survive?
Maybe people who want the union need to be a bit more nuanced, imaginative and constructive.

I bought a RBL one, but these are nicer, maybe the Poppy Fund needs to do better.

Look out!
It'll be the, "Ah! But what currency...?" prank next. 🤦‍♂️

Crikey, if you didn't pay air traffic controllers at the end of month one, in the UK the planes just wouldn't be in the air next day.

I have always thought that there will be Brexiteers in jail before this is all over.

Turning serious political matters into a "national soap opera" is a really dangerous issue.
A media world that reflects gossip rather than fact, heat rather than light and seems to have a phobia about reflecting complexity is a big part of that too.
November 3, 2025 at 2:52 PM
Quite a violent assertion....is that wise given recent events?
November 3, 2025 at 8:22 AM
Who cares how?

😂 "Frites spillage", you are a splendid wordsmith!

In Scotland we have a term for people like him...I can't decide if he's a right one, a silly one, a daft one or a complete one, he's not a good one though.

Well, could ChatGPT be the issue?

If the NHS is under-funded, where do they imagine there is room for a private company to make profits?

Paying for no pensions?
Paying staff badly?
Providing no training?
Providing no follow-up?
Treating no complex cases?

😂😂😂 A legitimate but unsatisfying riposte.

Odd that Stephen Flynn's connection went down just as he was giving the Labour and Tory MPs an embarrassing and richly deserved ass-kicking.
