Not actually too keen on this whole redoing social media thing instead of going outside and developing hobbies but some of you folks remain neat and stuck inside my phone . 32 , Black , Queer , She/Her , Happily Married and a few other things .
the best part of this to me is i just firmly don’t think the other part of this statement is remotely true , i can’t recall the last time something at gdq left its “bubble” in a significant manner , and tbh relatively same for evo . it’s also like what metrics could one even use to prove this or not

in a game like bg3 versus a dnd campaign also the charisma for convos felt like a double edged sword too cause it eventually just became okay i can basically talk certain folks into/out of anything , except parts of the game where clearly they went “okay we can’t let you have that much power”

even when i did get some cool bard spells a lot of it is still running support for other players and them often doing something that immediately invalidated what i did , like needing to hit /kill an enemy i had hypnotized/dominated/ held

As someone who played through as bard in a group playthrough i can say there isn’t anything that doesn’t inevitably amount to “don’t play bard / don’t just play bard” like i had fun but mostly cause i picked up eldritch blast from warlock and eventually a staff that let me do sorcerer spells
