Okay, maybe I spoke too soon. Maybe… more of a bittersweet ending? Or a ‘not as horrible as it could be’ ending? It was happy in my mind but I also thought the ending of ‘The Notebook’ was happy (in a poignant sort of way) so maybe I’m just weird. 🤔
