this is one of my favorite pieces ive done, i adore cooksies design and color palette so much! everytime i look at this piece, it reminds me why i love drawing in the first place. and it really makes me miss it. 🩷🩷🩷

the size of the brush for the lines is how big the squares will be. gingham can be done with just how i explained^
if you like how there are more shades in this specific example (light, med, AND dark) then u would do a higher opacity for either vertical/hori, and then lower opacity for opposite line

my ez cheatcode for plaid/ginghams, ill use red for ex:
- base color (red)
- 50% opacity (can tweak % depending on shades wanted) for 2nd color (black)
-do horizontal, then vertical lines. the opacity% is whats gonna give u the varying colors
- if u want the smaller lines, add em last!
