soon asleep is 10 years old today. It almost feels like a different life. I love the bent sounds on this release, the blanket of distortion, but these are the most hopeless Drowse songs and I’m glad I’m in a different place now.

RIP David Lynch. You’ve been a source of inspiration in my life ever since I fell deep into it with Twin Peaks as a young Pacific Northwestern teen. Every time I open my laptop to work on music I see the Black Lodge and it reminds me that it is possible to take people to another place.
