Even now, they choose not to believe or see the horrors that have and are currently taken place. Anything negative is fake news, biased/yellow journalism or inauthentic source. This isn't just unique to me. Everyone has lost family members and friends to this brainrot.

Endless justifications and excuses for the actions of the right, while the left is held to the highest standards possible. Once they were radicalized, it feels futile to even try to converse in anything political or relating to current events.

The mask has been off for a lot of people, but for many people like my family that are completely busy with their lives don't see it. If you truly believed the lies peddled to you by MSM and social media, how could you ever think you're in the wrong?

I love my family to death, but my parents voted for this new administration 3x. No amount of conversations and convincing would work as their worldview shaped by their algorithms and fyps shifted to be fearful of immigration, minorities and LGBTQIA+. I initially hoped they weren't hateful.
