Getting ready to see my BF for her 50th birthday! It’s incredible to think we’ve know each other for nearly 20 years. We’ve both been through LIFE. Abusive marriages, divorce, 100s of miles on trail for therapy, finding light and growing into our best selves! I’m excited to see her this week ♥️

Why can’t we exist in a place where religious freedom is exercised? Where non violence is celebrated? Where healthy debate is embraced? Where I am not scared to help a stranger? Where our children will be better off than we are now? Where we are free to love regardless of sexual identity or color?

My upset is now calm, as I no longer care. I will not put my heart in a place of being disappointed by someone I once trusted with my entire being. When your own parent puts your safety at risk for a political party, that’s a boundary I refuse to let be crossed! I will miss my Dad!
