A Fisherman’s Tale
A 2hr vr game controlling a puppet in a lighthouse. Makes good use of vr with puzzles that play around with your sense of scale, and the presentation in general is good. Unfortunately the story is meh and some puzzles felt more awkward than difficult. Worth picking up on sale.

A game about climbing a mountain in a world without water. The entire gameplay is climbing and I thought it would quickly become boring, but at the 1hr mark it got me and I enjoyed the vibe of ascending through the scenery. A good Steam Deck game, but use the simple climbing control option.

A short series of stories with heavy Stranger Things vibes. An interesting concept with a tedious execution. I was hoping each story would feel different but they each had roughly the same formula so it became stale. Probably more interesting to watch a YouTube playthrough.

While it’s critically acclaimed and I enjoy both card games and weird stories, I just didn’t vibe with this one. The story felt vague and the gameplay dragged for the second half. I’d say it’s still worth a try though.

Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical
Was pleasantly surprised by this. Basically life is strange-y vibes but each important conversation turns into a musical, which I thought would become annoying but it’s not overdone and is very charming. Plus a good story and interesting characters, I recommend!
