It's been about 4 years since I've really painted. Making art has been a mentally fraught journey for me after I had pieces censored and destroyed by a sovereign government a few years back and after my friend died 4 years back. "Matriarch" oil on canvas.

I came home from work and I'm ready to go to Costco but my dog said that they changed their policy and now regular dogs are allowed in and Also dogs are allowed to have samples and also samples for dogs are now all full sized slices of pizza.

For a reason I no longer remember, I have an unfounded belief that I may be immune to poison ivy. I live in a region where it is not at all common, but found out that a place I'm going to hike on Wednesday is lousy with it. Gonna find out for sure this week, he said confidently.

In July our dumb neighbors fucked up and shot a firework into our natural juniper fence. The blank spot has depressed me since, as I have worked so hard to make a beautiful chaotic garden.
I just welded this little guy. The neighborhood knows damn well it going up in October is just coincidence .

I love New Mexico, I was just drinking a beer next to a tiny cactus I bought at a brewery when man came by and asked I wanted medium or hot. I said hot, and he gave me a handful of freshly roasted green chile directly into my hands. Hot, wet chile. I ate it.
