Within Workflow Studio for AWS Step Functions, we’ve introduced type-ahead. As you type, we now suggest variables, JSONata expressions, and the context object, significantly simplifying development.

We’ve introduced a simplified model for handling Input Output processing - 5 fields (InputPath, Parameters, ResultSelector, ResultPath, OutputPath) have became 2 (Arguments, Output) when using JSONata.

Workflow Variables for AWS Step Functions - You can now store and retrieve data from variables, making it easier to pass data through your workflow. Use the new assign field to assign data to variable, reference in a future state.
