I just wanted to give another user on this site my two cents on what could be causing the issue, if not please correct and educate. There is no valid reason to be mean just because you don't like the options I gave.

Again I'm not telling anyone what to do that is up to them, but just stating the facts. I don't like Twitter or the x owner too as a person of color I know what the nazis stood for. You can't nasty or rude to someone that giving them option. Remember you don't have to listen to me.

The one too mad to at would be the government which I guess is too much brain work for you
November 6, 2025 at 2:04 PM
Unless you have the cash on hand to give Blue Sky every time you want to look at porn please do it. Im not the one to be mad at because a law exists.
November 6, 2025 at 2:04 PM
In the state, the person has an online verification law. If Blue Sky wanted to work on that state they would have to make sure a system is set to verify that that if not they (Blue Sky) can restrict who has access to the site.
November 6, 2025 at 2:04 PM
Or use a vpn but the last option would be to move state if they wanted. Or they could use another site, you can be upset yes I get it but the reality is what it
November 6, 2025 at 2:04 PM
Yes the not a blue sky issue it and issues with the law in that person's life I know reading is fundamental so let me tell you again. This is a state issue because of the laws that exist. If Blue Sky would like to be able to operate they have to follow the law. They can use a vpn
November 6, 2025 at 2:04 PM
Should be at the government not the website you're trying to use or not again just a random user that wants to share the reason you might be having issues where you live. No reason to be mean or nasty.
November 6, 2025 at 11:24 AM
Not blue sky, or you can be mad at blue sky I don't control your life/action. Im just a random user. The other option minis using a vpn is to move to a different state that doesn't have Id laws. The tinier the platform the weird laws like with affect them differently. You being upset
November 6, 2025 at 11:24 AM
Less but you could message blue sky directly and find why your have issues with website in the state, don't get nasty with person in your comments trying to explain the reason behind your issue.
November 6, 2025 at 11:11 AM
Websites are allowed to moderate themselves if they don't like what they're doing there are other websites You're going to run into the same issues somewhere else. This is more of a state issue and less about blue sky policy. If you already knew what caused the issue posting about is kinda of point
November 6, 2025 at 11:11 AM
This is just a website my dude if you don't like the policy or how it responds to ID laws there are other websites. All agreed to the terms and conditions when signing up to use the website. Making a post about about then getting nasty with someone who is trying to help isn't appreciated.
November 6, 2025 at 11:11 AM
If you don't like what Blue Sky is doing, then go back to x. The law is inconsistently applied to everyone. If the company wants to stay in business, they have to follow the law; otherwise, it restricts who can use it or where it's available. The point I'm trying to make be mad at state government.
November 6, 2025 at 10:59 AM
This is a legal requirement for the platform, not a choice. To resolve this, advocacy with your local government is key. A VPN can offer a temporary solution.

This might explain it for your state, Mississippi also has the same Id law for online stuff which I brought it different comment.

codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised...

A state law prevents Blue Sky from operating here. A legal challenge is in progress, but for now, the entire state is restricted.

Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.

While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.
