i switch back to revising Oleander Isle in September, which is a little sad because this mermaid pirate with a crew of sea critters book i'm scribbling is so fun so far. i don't know why the whale shark character is turning into an edgelord but i like him.

Not writing today, 17-year old cat that I rescued as a kitten in 2008 has passed away. I was with her until the end, which is the first time I was able to do that with any of my animals, RIP Eve (she was also the model for the cover of one of my TTRPGs) (mind the mess of blankets)

(but im not feeling it because one of my cats is dying, she's 17 years old and she was kind of a mean girl, but she and i have been through a lot so even though i was prepared for this im still sad.)
