I see the point somewhat but for me that’s wasn’t risky. He signed big but expected and team traded assets they needed to sign him. Alonzo and Swarber are likely overpays but teams take those risks. When was last time we “won” the free agent? Bregman was a pillow contract essentially.

Frustration is Red Sox still appear unwilling to risk money when others will which is hard from a franchise that has huge fans and revenue. If they resign Bregman and get another bat then okay but those prices just went higher and concerns are they will match reputation of past years.

What’s so sad is monopolies are extremely dangerous and horrific and I’m genuinely relieved and happy it wasn’t Paramount.

This is twisted the wrong way. People are buying more on Black Friday because of the deals that they need more now given concerns. Also people are more down and anxious cause of trump and economy so using holidays harder. Look at ratings for Thanksgiving parade. Doesn’t mean economy is good

Very true but also need to be honest ourselves. The guardian headline was stronger and even CBS news mentioned without data. If there are more accurate headlines we can’t rail against them as then we ourselves are part of the problem.

This is crazy but they might not be dead. The West Virginia governor just said he got conflicting reports. All of this is awful but fact that misinformation could be happening is even worse for these families

Redacted is one thing but altered no. They would have already done so once he took office again they wouldn’t have waited til now that makes zero sense and makes us look like the conspiracy theorists. He can redact based on illegitimate legal standing which he’ll do

Those saying “files altered” are being absurd, he would have already done that a while ago he wouldn’t just wait until now. It’s the legally permitted to do so part so he’ll say investigations limit it and he read the room and noted it was going to happen anyway in the vote

I really like you, but with all due respect, saying infighting gets in the way is actually a slap in the face to how we feel. Those 8 and leadership didn’t fight for us at all. If you don’t work to change that, then you are siding with them even with your “no” vote.

I mean it was flights and SNAP but really we would have folded over something found eventually. We are inherently weak and somehow also condescending. This just showed what we all knew which is we need real change to fight this

The issue is 2 are retiring and the other 6 aren’t up until at least 2028. The brand has been dead for a while, only good thing is this hopefully motivates us to only choose 2026 candidates that are clearly better
