I thought so at first too, but the (unusual) wording of the order actually points to something else. Emergency stay requests go to a single justice at SCOTUS first, so Justice Jackson got this one (it's her NE federal circuit). She granted the stay with the unusual expiration of 48 hours, to force

Yeah, the polls show it too. Anecdotally, I had a coworker who would always gush about Trump before the election, while we warned him about the humility of regrets. He refuses to talk about politics now. Better late than never - the American way 😑

As a U.S. citizen who worked for a couple years in London, it's surprising how many people there wish the Tories would take an incredibly long walk off a really small pier, and that they could get rid of the royals as a political power once and for all.

Yep. One of the first papers I actually had a paid subscription for. It was always my go-to. Then Bezos had to flush everything good about it down the toilet, including some of their best journalists. Sadly, it's happening with a lot of media now.
