It's not ageism, I'm saying an entire generation of people were made to think in the 'me me me' mindset. I don't blame it on them. I don't dislike anyone purely because of how old they are. I'm just asking them to zoom out and have some perspective. My gen isn't perfect either

Great shout. I have noticed a lot of people in his generation (and slightly younger - Boomers and older Gen Xers) say things that are seemingly innocuous like 'where is my clicker' about the TV remote, when, really ... is it YOUR clicker? You don't live alone. It's a shitty generational mindset.

It’s an opportunity for the current crop of young dems to step up. So has every minute of this administration, which says to me they are frozen by how bad things have gotten. We need someone brave enough to flip the bird and stand up over and over again.

Meaning: how has everything else not mobilized them? It’s such an indictment at this point. Civilians being fed up and protesting is having more of a galvanizing impact than anything any of these head in the sand people have done in the face of a dictator.
