If you play Warmachine and MCP, you’ll immediately get what the rules are trying to do. It’s impressive.

Even turn 0 choices were plentiful. You have to decide which scenarios to bring and which terrain pieces to bring. And then where to lay that terrain down. Essence is like focus in Warmachine but comes only over the course of the turn so you use it and gain it multiple times over the turn.

Also PANDAS!

Plus I kept having to rotate the figure because I'd find new nibs/supports in areas I supposedly finished already. :D

I'm interested to see how well primer and/or basecoating the models will cover up all the little dimples that are left behind from the supports.

I think the thing I learned most was how to deal with removing all the leftover supports & nibs from the supports. A sharp hobby knife was perfect for this job, but it was interesting to learn how long this job took. Probably as long as if not longer than removing mold lines on hard plastic models.
