I’ve seen people come are go in the scene. Great clothes. Most of these people never looked right, either no matter how expensive or homemade the clothes were. Because they never were. Some people come to it later and realize: this is who I’ve always been.

Yes you can go to yoga. I was a soccer mom doing Soccer mom things. Didn’t stop being goth. In the optimal circumstances, one can wear super goth clothing at all times. This is not desirable or practical. Goth is more than clothes. If one is goth then they ARE.

There are SO many variations on goth. Punk, cyber, Victorian, vampire, fetish, etc. you name it. Plus, if you’re goth: you’re going to BE goth no matter WHAT you wear.
