Polypropylene mesh cause adhesions and activated immune responses. We need biomimetic prosthesis with no long term immune response.
My PhD reviewed the literature and proposed affordable solutions.

MALDI is such a great technique.
A few years ago, I was profilling historic sinew to identify the species of origin using ZooMS methodologies.
This kind of work can be done easily on the MALDI-8020 from Shimadzu. I know this because I did it with samples from the British Museum.
