I know how and why these regimes came to power. I know how polices impacted select populations, how policies impacted the entire population, how policies impacted the environment, the standard of living, the security of the country

Throughout history, there has been a litany of evil government regimes. Hitler is best known because his actions had the largest global reach. However, there is a long list of government regimes that have been equally evil, but they only impacted their own country and people.

My lectures are 3 hrs long (with a break). I am always a little shocked when I realize the students are still paying attention all the way to the end 😂

In the wild sea urchins put rocks on their heads to protect themselves. So, of course, people with urchins in home aquariums started giving them hats. And yes the urchins put them on. Again, so of course, Amazon now sells an entire selection of sea urchin hats.

The university IT department just sent me two emails saying they have "opened a ticket" for me for two different issues. Issue 1 was 3 years ago, issue 2 was 1 year ago. 🤷♀️
