…and how we tell a full, honest, and inclusive national story in these places laden with so much history and meaning. Language matters but so does intention and action. There are some great things happening…

Particularly wonderful to tell the story of Jamaican heiress Elizabeth Vassall, whose family papers are in the British Library archives - the Jamaican materials really need a proper catalogue to help make them more accessible to Caribbean historians…
