Puzzles me that typical questionnaires focus on the traditional model of the 5 senses. I find it useful when working with autistic/adhd clients to explore with them how the nervous system senses the inner and outer world. This can include: Hunger, balance, proprioception, temperature etc

Absolutely. A problem for many top-down systems e.g. the education minister trying to understand and make decisions about a complex system. The model of the system has to be simplified enough that the minister believes they understand the whole of it.
